Our Vision

Nashville is home to multiple denomination headquarters and boasts the most churches per capita in the entire nation with over 700 churches in the city. Even with its history of religion, the “Buckle of the Bible Belt” is slowly coming undone. The city is steeped in tradition and religion and filled with individuals who are religiously lost.

Why Nashville?

When God called us to plant a church we specifically prayed that He would send us to an area that was culturally Christian, growing and influential, and had college students to invest in and send on mission for the glory of God. Nashville has all of that and more!

Our vision is to be a diverse family of disciples on mission to see the flourishing of the church, our city, and our world.

For that reason, we at Proclamation Church want to see the gospel go forth in this city in a way that will awaken people to the love of Jesus, and their need for Jesus, and to join in on the proclamation of Jesus. We believe that in pursuing this, we will see God’s Kingdom come and His will be done in Nashville as it is in heaven!

We will see many of the thousands of college students in Middle Tennessee be equipped in the gospel as they are studying to become the next leaders in education, government, business, and art.

We will see the many entertainers and entrepreneurs moving to the city grow deeper in the gospel as they continue to shape the cultural landscape of our city and our country.

We will see businessmen and women find their identity in the love of Christ way more than in the approval of man.

We will see the many families in this city learn to love their neighborhood and their neighbors in the love that Jesus has first displayed for them that will continue to impact and change our city for generations to come.

We will see churches that have steadily declined partner with the next generation of pastors and leaders to see their church building continue to be used in a way that shows kingdom partnership and unity.

All of this is for God’s glory, and we are excited that he has called us to this work. We pray that you will join us in seeing this vision come to fruition.
